Target audience: Animal Control Officers, Law Enforcement, Animal Shelter and Kennel Staff, Veterinary Personnel, and others who work as volunteers in the animal welfare profession.
Course overview: This course is designed to improve animal capture and handling techniques in the field and shelter. Raise awareness about canine and feline body language and learn best practices regarding: personnel safety; use of tools for restraint; humane capture techniques and animal behavior basics.
