Target Audience:
Animal welfare professionals, specifically those staff members who 
deal with crisis communication, write position statements, and oversee social media & external communications. Animal Control officers and/or other staff positions who work in the field.

Course Overview:
This course will cover how the public is using social media and how 
animal welfare agencies must have a social media game 
plan in order to survive the social microscope.

  • How to navigate animal cruelty reports that come through social channels.​

  • Traditional media relations vs social media relations: how to use social channels to tell your story.
